The Golden Glove award given to the best goalkeeper of the tournament, Prior to 2011 edition Golden Glove Award was called as Best Goalkeeper award. The FIFA Technical study Group decides the Top goalkeepers of the World Cup tournament based on goalkeepers performance throughout the tournament till the final match. Though the award was first introduced for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in the year 1999. But, the award was originated in the FIFA Men’s World Cup in the year 1994 and the award was named as Lev Yashin Award at that time though it was changed to Golden Glove later on. In 2003 and 2007 World Cup, a Best Goalkeeper award was given, and in 1999 World Cup two goalkeepers were named to an All-Star Team. In all, six times players have won the Golden Glove award since it was first awarded in the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Procedure For Voting On The Golden Glove Award
The FIFA Technical Study Group casts the votes for the golden glove award. The player who wins the most votes is given the award. Each member of the panel casts a vote for the player who they feel was the best goalkeeper at the competition. Tiebreakers are used to determine the winner if two or more players have the same number of votes. The first tiebreaker is determine by who advanced the farthest in the World Cup tournament, if the seond tiebreaker is needed than the goalkeeper who made the highest number of saves, and if the third tiebreaker is required, the player who played the most minutes gets the award.

Player Of The Match Award Winners List
The player of the match (POTM) Award was first introduced for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in the year 2003. The award goes to the most outstanding player in every match of the tournament. Till 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup (i.e. from 2003 to 2015) the POTM award were chosen by the Technical Study Group. But, from 2019 the winner of POTM award has been chosen through an online poll conducted on FIFA’s website.
