The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup will be the ninth edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup. It is set to be the biggest women’s football tournament yet, In addition, this tournament will be the first to feature the expanded format of 32 teams from the previous 24, competing across 64 games, Replicating the same format used for the men’s world cup from 1998 to 2022. This is the first time in the entire history of FIFA Women’s World Cup that there are more than one host nation. The tournament will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand and it will take place from 20 July to 20 August 2023. Held in the Oceanic regions of Australia and New Zealand, The competetion will run exactly for a month.
The opening match of FIFA Women’s World Cup2023 kicks off on July, 2023 with co-hosts New Zealand taking on Norway at Eden Park, Auckland and conclude with the final match of the tournament on 20th August, 2023 at Sydney Olympic stadium in Sydney, Australia.
