The Portuguese women’s national soccer team registered their first point of the tournament after a 2-0 win over Vietnam in Group E on Thursday.
The win puts Portugal in third place in the group behind the Netherlands and the United States, while Vietnam remains at the bottom of the group after two games.
In the match, Vietnam had several opportunities to score, but were unable to do so. Portugal, however, were clinical and could have had more goals.
