NCAA March Madness 2023 kick-off in Dayton, Ohio, on Tuesday with the First Four matches, which will be played on Tuesday and Wednesday. The four lowest-seeded auto-bids and the four lowest-seeded at-large bids compete in the First Four for a spot in the 68-team bracket.

In The first official day of the 2023 NCAA March Madness Tournament two teams have entered the Round 1 after winning their respective first four games. The First two teams to advance to Round 1 of 2023 March Madness are No. 16 seed Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and No. 11 seed Pitt have entered into the main bracket with wins in Tuesday’s First Four games.

In the first game of the first four matches on Tuesday, No. 16 seeds Southeast Missouri and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi faced off, with the latter emerging as a winner, 75-71. A&M-Corpus Christi Ousts SEMO for First NCAA Tournament Win in School History.

On Thursday, Texas A&M CC will take on a juggernaut in No. 1 Alabama at 2:45 p.m. ET which will be air on CBS.

In the later game, No. 11 Pitt defeated Mississippi State by a score of 60-59. Jamarius Burton made a go-ahead jumper with 10 seconds left and Pitt defeated Mississippi State 60-59 in a back-and-forth First Four game Tuesday night that featured 21 lead changes — most in the NCAA Tournament in 5 years.

Pitt will now play Friday against No. 6 Iowa State at 3:10 p.m. ET which is going to air on truTV.
