With Switzerland leading the group on four points, a draw would be enough to confirm their place in the tournament’s knockout stage. New Zealand, on the other hand, will know that they will need to win in order to advance.
A draw would be enough for both teams to qualify for the knock-out stage, although it would require co-host Norway to draw with the Philippines, and given that both those teams will need a win to get into the knock-out phase, a draw among two desperate teams hardly seems likely.
