After trailing behind by 8 points at the end of third quarter before turning it around in the last quarter with a massive 36 points been scored by heat and outscoring Boston 36-22 in the final quarter. They’re now just two wins away from an NBA Finals berth.

Heat was led by Jimmy Butler as he has throughout the playoffs, finishing with 27 points, 8 rebounds and six assists, While Bam Adebayo scored 22 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists and teammate Caleb Martin came off the bench to dropped 25 points and Duncan Robinson scored 15 points which was a huge factor throughout the match which led Heat to win over Celtics. Now, they have a chance to complete the sweep at home.

On the other hand, Celtics was led by Jayson Tatum and exploded 34 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists. But he went 0 for 3 when he was most needed by Boston with two turnovers and he was also unable to convert a field goal in the final quarter, when Boston blew an 89-77 lead. While, Jaylen Brown scored 16 points, 4 rebounds and three assists.

The Celtics were leading with 8 points in the third quarter and in the 2nd quarter they were trailed by 4 points. While, in the final quarter Celtics have made it a dozen early (i.e. 89-77). It was a 96-87 lead when Butler comes up big in fourth quarter to beat Cletics. This is there second straight home loss in three nights.

As Celtics fell apart late once again and are on the threshold against Heat after losing Game 2. Celtics will now have to try move up in the series and win the next game, While the Heat is heading home after winning two straight games and securing a 2-0 lead. They’re now just two wins away from an NBA Finals berth.

Here are the four takeaways as the series moves to Miami :

1. In the final stretch, the Celtics made the debatable decision to abandon Robert Williams and Derrick White. White played strong defence and made three of his five 3-point tries. Williams, on the other hand, was a component of a dangerous pick-and-roll combo that the Heat were unable to effectively stop using man-to-man or zone defence.

2. Game 2, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo each contributed, but Miami also received a significant boost from a couple of bench guys. Boston’s bench was outscored by Caleb Martin (25 points) and Duncan Robinson (15), who together scored 40 points. They both added three triples and hit a total of 17 of 25 from the field. For Miami, both made multiple clutch shots; without them, this victory probably wouldn’t have been possible.

3. One of the main causes of the Celtics’ difficulties in this year’s playoffs is Al Horford, who has had difficulty on both sides of the court from the start. The Celtics anticipated one of the NBA’s top 3-point shooters during the regular season to continue making 3-pointers in the post season. On Friday, he shot 1-for-5 from the field and 0-for-3 from behind the arc. But, due to the non performance of Al Horford, Celtics have suffered hugely.

4. Moving ahead in the series, the Celtics will depend more on Jayson Tatum in the fourth quarters. Tatum was kept without a field goal in the last minute of Game 2 for the second consecutive game, and the Celtics cannot win with that kind of play. If the Celtics hope to rally, they need to figure that out immediately.
