Goal 4th minutes : Katie McCabe scores directly from a corner!
A superb in-swinging pass from the right corner that is angled directly in the direction of the goal. Sheridan reaches out in a frantic attempt to block it out, but it is simply too high for her.
Goal 45+5 minutes : Grosso successfully digs out a cross into a danger zone while chasing a ball along the left touchline. It’s difficult to read, and it catches Connolly’s extended leg, sending it hurtling into the bottom corner just out of Brosnan’s grasp. a regrettable own goal.
Goal 53rd minutes : Adriana Leon is immediately inside the zone when Schmidt delivers the ball to him. Despite McCabe’s best efforts, she manages to stab the ball home with a beautiful first touch.
