Norway continue to struggle in a scoreless draw against Switzerland in a Group A match at FMG stadium Waikato, New Zealand.

Today’s matches were turnaround to be the most unexpected matches of the tournament till now. As the result of all the matches are totally different of what was predicted by everyone.

Both the teams have approximately equal time of possession of ball, Norway have 51% and Switzerland have 49%. On the other hand, Norway shots for goal is 15 and Switzerland just shots for 8 times only in the entire match.

You have to admit that Norway had yet another really dismal performance and outcome. Ada Hegerberg’s injury just before the game may have been unfortunate, but Hege Riise’s team needed a response and didn’t provide. They get their first World Cup point, but despite having so much attacking talent, they have yet to score in tournament play. Additionally, Norway has lost six straight games and is now on its worst 10-day winning streak.

Switzerland earned a respectable point since they were in a superior position after winning their first game.

At 92 mins Switzerland makes a late push as Crnogorevi sprints down the left side and whips a cross to substitute Meriame Terchoun.

Hegerberg faced a groin issue

Just before the kickoff of the match, Norway Ballon d’Or winner Ada Hegerberg walked straight back to the team’s dressing room

An update released by team Doctor of Norway through official twitter handle of Norway team that ““Ada Hegerberg got a feeling in the groin on the last sprint during the warm-up.”

Group A still remains Wide open for everyone

As the match between Norway and Switzerland ends in draw which make the Group A wide open for anyone to qualify for the next round though Switzerland Still at top position and Norway in last position but it can be changed if Norway Wins next match against Philippines with a good margin of goals and same is applied to Switzerland when they faced New Zealand or vice-versa. Anything is possible in the Group A, Anyone can qualify.
