NCAA Selection Committee Revealed Its Top 16 seeds | March Madness 2023 Bracket Predictions By Andy Katz

The current March Madness Top 16 overall seeds was revealed by the Selection Committee on Saturday at 12:30 PM ET on CBS with just over three weeks away from Selection Sunday on the NCAA March Madness Men’s Bracket Preview. The top 16 seeds teams are as follows :

1. Alabama 2. Houston 3. Purdue 4. Kansas 5. Texas 6. Arizona 7. Baylor 8. UCLA 9. Tennessee 10. Virginia 11. Iowa State 12. Kansas State 13. Indiana 14. Marquette 15. Gonzaga 16. Xavier

March Madness 2023 Seeds lists :

Committee chairman Chris Reynolds revealed the top 16 teams in the presence of the broadcaster team of Greg Gumbel, Clark Kellogg, Jay Wright and Seth Davis in the Studio. The show listed the top-four seeds in each region as things stand entering Saturday’s action. The committee first began previewing the bracket’s top 16 teams in 2017, and it has become an annual tradition that provides an advance look at how the bracket is coming together.

Before the final 68 teams are revealed on Selection Sunday, March 12 on CBS, There is still plenty of opportunity for teams to improve or decline. Yet the Saturday bracket preview provided some hints about what the selection committee thinks of particular team.

With the No. 1 overall seed and the top ranking in the AP Poll, Alabama is in first place. Teams on the one line are completed by Houston, Purdue, and Kansas.

Notable No. 2 seeds in the projected bracket include Texas and Baylor, giving the Big 12 three of the top eight teams.

With Just three weeks out from Selection Sunday, Andy Katz of NCAA Digital has updated his March Madness men’s bracket prediction in light of the men’s Basketball Committee unveiling their current top 16 teams in men’s basketball.

Katz’s forecasts from earlier this week still hold true for three of the top four seeds overall, however the ranking has changed slightly. While Katz and the committee concur that Alabama is the No. 1 overall seed in the field of 68, the committee has given Houston the No. 2 overall seed over Purdue.T

The committee will announce the entire official bracket on Selection Sunday on March 12.
